Community Leadership & Wellness Workshops
All workshops are funded by Los Angeles County and are free to attend.
Each program is designed to support community wellness, leadership development, and personal growth. Participants will receive free food, free wellness kits, and a stipend for participating, with stipend amounts varying by workshop.

Building Resilient and Inclusive Communities Across Los Angeles County
Los Angeles County is sponsoring these workshops to address long-standing disparities in access to mental health support, leadership development, and economic opportunity among historically underserved populations, including Latino male youth, Black leaders, and individuals with disabilities.

Latino Male Youth Resiliency Workshop Series
The Latino Male Youth Resiliency Workshop Series is a culturally responsive, in-person program designed for Latino males ages 16–25.
The series provides a safe, engaging workshop environment where participants build emotional resilience, self-accountability, and practical life skills through guided discussions, interactive activities, and peer connection. Sessions address real-world challenges such as stress management, identity development, goal setting, communication, and navigating school, work, and family responsibilities.
The program emphasizes strengths-based growth, community support, and empowerment, helping young men develop confidence, coping strategies, and a clear sense of direction for their future.
Emerging Leaders Workshop Series
People with disabilities
Emerging Leaders: People with Disabilities This workshop series supports individuals with disabilities who are developing leadership skills in their communities and workplaces. The program builds confidence, self-advocacy, communication, and leadership capacity while addressing barriers related to accessibility, employment, and inclusion. Participants engage in interactive, strengths-based sessions focused on decision-making, problem-solving, goal setting, and navigating systems that impact daily life and career advancement. Los Angeles County sponsors this initiative to promote equity, increase representation, and ensure meaningful participation, empowering individuals with disabilities to lead with confidence, advocate effectively, and create sustainable, positive change within their communities and organizations.


Black Leadership Summit
The Black Leadership Summit is a hybrid leadership development series designed for Black professionals, emerging leaders, and community advocates across Los Angeles County.
This workshop series includes 2 in-person sessions and 6 online sessions conducted via Google Meet, allowing for both meaningful connection and flexible participation.
Participants strengthen leadership capacity, emotional resilience, and strategic decision-making while engaging in facilitated discussions on equity, representation, workplace dynamics, and community impact.
This blended format supports sustained engagement, peer learning, and practical skill development that can be applied within organizations and communities.
